IT Field Support Technician (Experienced)

• Locations: South Point, PA – travel to KY, WV, Pittsburgh, OH - 2–4-hour drive max – potential to have to fly to a site if longer

• Travel: ~30–40% monthly; mostly day trips, occasional overnights
• Start Date Target: ~November 10
• Contract Type: Long-term staff augmentation Work Schedule: M–F, 8–5 onsite; occasional remote flexibility; potential weekend work based on business needs

This role is only for consultant with any visa status; No C-2-C; Local candidates who can work our W-2 only.

Pay Rate: $35-$38/hr. on W-2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Desktop support: imaging, hardware/software troubleshooting, peripheral setup
• Network support: assist with equipment installs, cabling checks, AP surveys (no config work)
• Conference room setup: Teams-based systems (Poly, cameras, mics)
• Printer support: setup, troubleshooting, badge printing (HP preferred, mixed environment)
• Mobile device support: iPhones, Teams softphone setup
• Inventory management at the base location
• Site support: new office setups, moves, vendor escorting
• Use of ServiceNow for ticketing and hardware management
• Occasional support for barcode scanners and SAP connectivity
• Safety compliance: TWIC card, FRC gear, site-specific training (e.g., sour gas awareness)

Technical Environment

• OS: Windows 11 (some Win10/Win7)
• Networking: Cisco, Arista (basic understanding required)
• Tools: ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Printers: HP preferred, multifunction devices
• VPN: Basic troubleshooting knowledge preferred

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 3–5 years preferred; open to training if candidate is eager and adaptable
• Backgrounds Accepted: Enterprise, MSP, medical, education – oil & gas is a plus but not required
• Certifications: A , Network preferred but not mandatory
• Soft Skills: Willingness to learn, team-oriented, flexible, no “know-it-all” attitude
