What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Project Manager position at Akkodis?
Akkodis is seeking a Engineering Project Manager for a contract located in Meriden, CT (onsite).
Pay Range: $60/hr. - $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Qualification
- Technical/Engineering Bachelor’s degree with 5 years (or Master’s degree with 3 years) of demonstrated applicable experience.
- Managing facilities projects to scope, budget, and timeline commitments
- Managing technical efforts of design firms, contractors, and other vendors
- Using critical metrics for measuring and improving personal work performance
- Managing personal individual effort across multiple concurrent projects
- Managing facilities workstream as part of a large project
- Managing vendor selection using multiple proposals and quotes (use of decision matrix preferred)
- Managing vendor design, build, and install efforts to ensure overall project success
- Managing projects to applicable international standards (e.g. ISO, CE, FDA, etc.) desired
