Akkodis is recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer - Avionics for an aerospace manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI or Clearwater, FL area. This is a direct hire onsite position with a pay range of $90K annually to $157K annually depending on education, experience and location. Key experience: High-speed analysis (aka Signal Integrity), Digital Design (aka Mixed signal), Mentor/Altium // Additional key words: FPGA on circuit card assembly, DDR, PCIE, digital circuitry, multi-layer, BGA // sweet spot is BS 4-6 y.o.e. but willing to look at additional years of experience to replace BSEE.
- Responsible for architecting moderately complex avionic computer hardware systems that include both digital and analog components.
- Perform the design, simulation and verification of a circuit card assemblies (CCA) and manage the requirements with the applicable tool.
- Prepare the necessary documentation for product development and certifications.
- Testing and integration of the circuit card assemblies installed in chassis.
- Ability to break down complex problems and apply critical thinking.
- Familiarity with the Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise and Hyperlinx PI/SI.
