Dotnet Developer

Akkodis is seeking a .NET/C# Developer for 06 Months Contract position with our Direct Client located in Southlake, TX (Hybrid- Mon to Thu Onsite).

Pay Range: $62 - $64/hr on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior .NET / Angular Developer to join our Professional Services team. This role consists of 80% backend (.NET Core) and 20% frontend Angular (v11 ), supporting a highly skilled engineering group working with a modern distributed architecture.

• Tech Environment Backend: .NET Core, EF Core
• Frontend: Angular — Strong Angular experience required… Experience with newer versions strongly preferred
• Databases: MongoDB, SQL (strong SQL skills required), Oracle
• Version Control: GitHub (proficiency strongly preferred)
• Messaging: RabbitMQ (nice-to-have)
• Cloud: Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) (nice-to-have)

What You’ll Do

• You will work with a modern, distributed system leveraging PCF, Angular, .NET Core, Oracle, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and more. Responsibilities include Developing backend services in .NET Core and frontend features in Angular.
• Helping define and improve front-end architecture, reusable components, and testing frameworks.
• Implementing clean, maintainable, testable code across services.
• Participating in Agile/Scrum processes and contributing to cross-functional team collaboration.
• Understanding full system architecture and integration points across platforms.
• Mentoring team members and elevating engineering standards across the organization.

• What You Have10 years .NET/C# development experience
• Strong Angular experience in production environments
• Strong SQL fundamentals and applied experience
• Strong unit testing skills
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies and protocols
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Git (GitHub preferred)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement mindset

Nice to Have

• Angular reactive programming (NgRx)
• Building Angular front ends integrated with REST APIs
• Micro UI architecture exposure
• GraphQL
• MongoDB
• Oracle
• RabbitMQ
• PCF or other cloud experience
