Director of Manufacturing Engineering
📍 McHenry, MS (Onsite) | Direct Hire
We’re partnering with an innovative advanced manufacturing organization seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead a high-performing team supporting prototype-to-production scale-up in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing engineering and production operations for a growing site
- Manage a team of 30 engineers and technicians
- Drive facility and equipment commissioning, automation, and process development
- Oversee multiple high-priority projects while guiding transition from low-rate to full-rate production
- Support long-term scaling efforts to high-volume manufacturing
What We’re Looking For:
- Director/VP-level manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven success scaling operations from prototype to production
- Background in highly regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, medical device, pharma, etc.)
- Expertise in automation, process engineering, safety/compliance, and equipment commissioning
- Experience managing complex engineering portfolios and cross-functional teams
- Ability to obtain security clearance
