We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our automation team and support a variety of client‑focused industrial automation projects. This role serves as a contributing technical resource and requires a foundational understanding of PLC and HMI systems while working alongside a multi‑disciplined engineering team.
Location: Onsite - St Louis, MO
Role Type: Direct Hire
Salary: 80120k depending on experience level
Description/Skills
- Program and support Rockwell PLCs using Studio 5000
- Configure and support SCADA systems (Ignition and/or iFIX)
- Work with Schneider Electric–related systems and distributors (e.g., Graybar)
- Provide daily troubleshooting and installation support, including fault codes, PLC logic issues, and system modifications
- Perform small system updates, such as adding motors or new equipment
- Contribute to larger automation projects, including HMI development and PLC programming
- Role can be combination of troubleshooting and project work
