Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and implementing secure, highly available CCaaS and IVA architectures on GCP while leading Five9 integrations, migrations, and optimizations to enable resilient, compliant, and high-impact customer experience platforms.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $59/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design and implement scalable CCaaS and Intelligent Virtual Agent (IVA) solutions using Google Cloud, Dialogflow CX, and Five9, ensuring seamless conversational IVR and enterprise system integrations.
• Architect secure, resilient GCP infrastructure leveraging GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Apigee, and BigQuery with IAM, VPC, encryption, and high availability.
• Lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of Five9 CCaaS platforms, including ACD, skills-based routing, dialers, omnichannel, and campaign management.
• Drive integrations and migrations using Five9 APIs, CRM/CTI, SIP/WebRTC, and security configurations (RBAC, PCI, HIPAA) from legacy contact center systems.
• Enable Agile delivery through CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and automated release management using GitHub Actions.
• Provide technical leadership by designing complex system architectures, mentoring teams, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer experience solutions.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–12 years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based CCaaS/contact center solutions, with senior or lead engineering responsibilities.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in Google CCAI, AWS Connect, and/or the Five9 CCaaS ecosystem, including IVA, IVR, and omnichannel solutions.
• Strong background in GCP cloud architecture, Five9 integrations and migrations, and secure, compliant enterprise implementations using CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $59.00 per hour
