The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll design and develop key components and assemblies that enable robotic systems to move, interact, and perform reliably. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs are optimized for performance, manufacturability, and scalability.
What You’ll Do
- Design mechanical components and assemblies including structures, mechanisms, and housings.
- Perform engineering analysis (e.g., FEA, tolerance analysis) to validate designs.
- Support concept development, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
- Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation (GD&T, BOMs).
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams.
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience designing mechanical systems in a product development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or similar).
- Understanding of mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
