- Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of client's enterprise networks and projects. monitoring and managing all aspects of IT operations to ensure they meet performance metrics.
- Provide leadership, project and activity planning, coordination, and day-to-day direction as needed, produce required deliverables and meet the relevant operations/project milestones.
- Manage multiple IT teams/managers to include network, system administration, systems security, Tier 1/2 Help Desk with team ranging in size from 5-15 team members.
- Analyze current operations practice to identify areas for improvement and create project management deliverables.
- Provide management oversight of all other contract employees.
- Formulate strategic vision for the IT Operations
- Foster a collaborative environment.
- Work directly with client's program manager and develop an outstanding customer relationship.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain staffing plan by recruiting and interviewing new contract personnel.
- Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications * A degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline is preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) Preferred.
- Ten years of IT and management experience is preferred.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.
- Minimum DoD interim Secret clearance.
- Candidate must reside within 50 miles of the Nation Capital Region (NCR)/ Washington DC.
