Network Cabling Technician with Security Clearance

Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Network Cabling Technician that is available and willing to accept a 1 year temporary assignment in Boston, MA. The Network Cabling Technician (1 Year Temporary Hire) will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a variety of wired systems across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge to include a variety of Networking technologies, including Fiber Optic Cable Testing, Copper Wire replacement, VoIP and legacy phone systems. Responsibilities * Available for a long-term temporary role (1 year) with potential for full-time hire.

• Designs and installs well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling.
• Performs troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
• Inspects LAN infrastructure and fixes minor or major issues.
• Evaluates network performance and find ways of improvement for wired cable infrastructure.
• Organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work. Qualifications * High School diploma/GED.
• Minimum Interim Secret is required.
• Experience working with LAN cable replacement and troubleshooting.
• COMPTIA Security CE (IAT-Level II) certification or COMPTIA NET Certification.
• Great attitude and strong communication skills.
