Warehouse Worker - $25.00/hour

Position summary

This warehouse role supports daily shipping and logistics operations by helping prepare trucks, stage materials, verify loads, and maintain safe, accurate warehouse flow. You will work closely with the night crew and other departments to support efficient next-day deliveries.

What you’ll do

• Prepare trucks accurately for the following day’s deliveries.
• Make sure boxes, pallets, conduit, reels, wire coils, and carts are loaded safely.
• Verify all loads before truck departure to reduce delivery errors and inventory loss.
• Monitor loading and staging activity to prevent mistakes and shortages.
• Maintain clearly defined staging areas for yard material and designated truck spaces.
• Help lead the night crew in safe and efficient loading procedures.
• Confirm the readiness of each loaded truck before route departure.
• Work with other teams to support smooth warehouse and distribution operations.
• Complete additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

• At least 3 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management, picking, packaging, and packing.
• Practical knowledge of inventory control and logistics processes.
• Experience using inventory and warehouse management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Commitment to warehouse safety standards.
• Ability to adapt to night shift work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with the electrical supply industry.
• Experience organizing route-specific staging areas.
• Experience leading or guiding warehouse or night shift teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trucks and routes while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
