What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Ajulia Executive Search?
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to daily written and verbal reporting, including updates presented to Senior Management.
- Develop process plans for battery production lines within the Battery PE department, working directly with the Manager for guidance and support.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, engineers, construction managers, technicians, vendors, and general contractors to meet project milestones.
- Support equipment procurement, installation planning and execution, commissioning, pre-production trials, and the launch of battery production lines.
- Adhere to and participate in advanced cleanliness protocols (clean-room standards) required for the assigned battery manufacturing areas.
- Lead and/or support equipment trials at vendor sites and on the production floor after installation, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
- Identify punch-list items, perform root-cause analysis, and manage corrective actions.
- Summarize KPIs, coordinate mass-production handover, and assist with resolving production issues.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, both domestic and international, to address open items and review key project schedules and milestones.
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for assigned areas.
- Manage and track budgets for assigned work areas.
- Complete required internal and external training programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience with electrode coating processes, including troubleshooting and optimization.
- Background in preparing for and executing capital projects.
- Capital project experience from early strategic planning through ramp-up to mass production.
- Project management experience overseeing capital investments exceeding $0.5M.
- Proven ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules, including tracking milestones for manufacturing equipment installation.
- Proficiency with 2D and 3D drafting tools, such as AutoCAD.
