Responsibilities: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots equipment issues, and responds promptly to Technical Support requests to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution. Accurately documents all support requests, labor time, and parts usage in the technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX). Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical wiring, control systems, and computer hardware associated with production equipment. Assists with the relocation of production equipment and supports the installation and commissioning of new equipment as directed by management. Tracks parts consumption and provides recommendations to management and the Inventory Analyst regarding optimal inventory levels. Promotes a positive work environment by contributing to strong teamwork, morale, and a healthy work-life balance. Provides performance feedback and input to leadership for evaluations of junior technicians. Ensures maintenance activities and records comply with OSHA and EPA requirements, including proper use of equipment tracking systems, while consistently following all safety policies and procedures. Required Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational education preferred. Vendor/equipment repair certification preferred but not required for at least one of our company's insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.) 3 years' experience within a production environment with resultant knowledge of equipment repair. Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment is necessary. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to take direction and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary. Ability to stand while working though-out the duration of assigned shift.
