We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Production Equipment Technician to join our team in South Windsor. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

📍 Location: South Windsor, CT

⏰ Work Mode: Work From Office

💼 Role: Production Equipment Technician (On-Site)

Duration: Direct/Permanent Placement

Schedule/Shift: EWD – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Alt Wednesday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

What You'll Do

 Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot production

equipment issues

 Respond promptly to Technical Support calls to ensure timely resolution

 Log all support calls, labor time, and parts usage accurately in the technician

tracking system, such as FIIX

 Install electrical wiring and controls for production-related equipment

 Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware related to production

equipment

 Relocate production equipment and support new equipment installations as directed

by management

 Track parts usage and provide inventory level recommendations to management and

the Inventory Analyst

 Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork and morale

 Provide feedback to leadership related to the performance and development of

junior technicians

 Maintain compliance with maintenance records in accordance with OSHA and EPA

Requirements

 Consistently follow all safety procedures and support the use of equipment tracking

databases

What We're Looking For

 High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational education

Preferred

 Vendor or equipment repair certification preferred but not required for at least one

insertion platform, such as Blue Crest, Bowe, or Buhrs

 Minimum of three years of experience in a production environment with hands-on

equipment repair experience

 Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment

 Ability to take direction and work effectively under time constraints

 Ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift

 Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more throughout the shift
