We're Hiring: Production Equipment Technician (On-Site)
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Production Equipment Technician to join our team in South Windsor. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot production
equipment issues
Respond promptly to Technical Support calls to ensure timely resolution
Log all support calls, labor time, and parts usage accurately in the technician
tracking system, such as FIIX
Install electrical wiring and controls for production-related equipment
Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware related to production
equipment
Relocate production equipment and support new equipment installations as directed
by management
Track parts usage and provide inventory level recommendations to management and
the Inventory Analyst
Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork and morale
Provide feedback to leadership related to the performance and development of
junior technicians
Maintain compliance with maintenance records in accordance with OSHA and EPA
Requirements
Consistently follow all safety procedures and support the use of equipment tracking
databases
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational education
Preferred
Vendor or equipment repair certification preferred but not required for at least one
insertion platform, such as Blue Crest, Bowe, or Buhrs
Minimum of three years of experience in a production environment with hands-on
equipment repair experience
Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment
Ability to take direction and work effectively under time constraints
Ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift
Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more throughout the shift
