Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for CNC machining operations.
• Improve and optimize manufacturing processes, methods, and workflows.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO-9000 standards.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and procedures.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize inspection tools to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Kaizen, and 6S practices.
• Communicate technical information effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Perform a variety of complex and technical tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field OR minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing experience with CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining methods, and engineering practices.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Understanding of AS9100 and ISO-9000 standards.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience using inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S, and Continuous Improvement.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (ITAR compliance required).
• Ability to follow highly complex directions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
