Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team supporting compensation, benefits, and payroll functions

• Manage compensation and benefits programs including job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive plans

• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing

• Conduct market benchmarking and pay equity analysis to maintain competitive compensation practices

• Drive annual merit increases, incentive programs, and benefits enrollment cycles

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve employee experience

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits regulations (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)

• Provide reporting and strategic insights on workforce trends and compensation data to leadership

• Stay current with HR trends and implement innovative total rewards strategies

• Support multi-site operations and travel as needed

• Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment

• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Minimum of five (5 ) years of progressive HR experience in compensation, benefits, and payroll

• At least two (2 ) years of leadership or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll processes

• Experience with compliance regulations (FLSA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA)

• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments preferred

• Multi-state experience required; Canadian experience a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to influence leadership and present data-driven insights

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)

• Professional certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or CCP) preferred

Pay Range:

$90,000 – $110,000 annually
