Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance organization, providing mentorship, clear asset ownership, succession planning, and strong leadership across all shifts
- Drive capital project support and partner with operations leadership to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and execute a facility‑wide maintenance strategy focused on preventive and predictive maintenance, root‑cause analysis, and reducing unplanned downtime
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align maintenance priorities while managing budgets, KPIs, and overall departmental performance
- Ensure all maintenance activities uphold food safety requirements and comply with GMP, OSHA, and environmental regulations
- Maintain rigorous safety procedures, documentation, and regulatory standards to protect employees and support operational reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience
- At least five years of maintenance leadership experience, plus a minimum of two years in project management
- Background in a manufacturing environment, with food manufacturing experience considered a plus
- Proficient with CMMS platforms and capable of tracking and reporting KPIs
- Strong technical and operational oversight skills suited for fast‑paced production settings
- Willingness to work Monday–Friday, with frequent Saturday shifts and availability for 12‑hour shifts during peak periods
