Responsibilities
- Directs the Maintenance team by driving training, safety, quality, communication, and employee development programs to maximize productivity
- Outlines responsibilities and manages the work of Maintenance Supervisors while ensuring fair policy implementation
- Leads performance management processes, fosters employee growth, and promotes engagement across the department
- Ensures maximum equipment uptime, manages MRO storeroom functions and purchasing, and coordinates with production to meet evolving needs
- Champions the department’s safety program and maintains cost‑effective operations through proper workforce scheduling and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline
- Over 8 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- 5 years of advancing leadership roles with responsibility for managing supervisors
- Dairy/Cheese Manufacturing Experience a plus
- Comprehensive knowledge of equipment systems, electrical operations, advanced process controls, power generation, hydraulics, refrigeration, pneumatics, thermodynamics, welding, machining, maintenance scheduling, and reliability-centered maintenance
