What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Benefits Administrator position at Ajulia Executive Search?
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 40 ongoing client accounts with consistent to moderate engagement levels
- Manages end to end benefits administration including HRIS setup, enrollment updates, payroll deductions, and dependent verification to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Oversees client accounts utilizing both Trion Master plans and customized Client Level plans
- Audits and reconciles carrier invoices, runs ACA and eligibility reports, and supports regulatory compliance including COBRA and National Medical Support Notices
- Maintains comprehensive client and employee records, prepares custom benefits packets, and provides census data and cost sheets as needed
- Serves as the primary client liaison, addressing benefit inquiries, conducting presentations, and ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a similar area preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in benefits administration or a similar HR function
- Understanding of ACA regulations principles
- Bilingual Spanish a plus.
