Zoning Attorney

Must Haves

• Minimum 3 years experience in private practice and/or government.
• Strong experience interpreting and applying the New York City Zoning Resolution and related land use regulations.
• Experience conducting zoning analyses and zoning due diligence.
• Experience advising clients on development and land use matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible for admission).

Nice to Have

• Experience handling zoning and land use applications.
• Exposure to discretionary land use approvals, including rezonings, variances, special permits, and environmental review.
• Experience with development rights transactions.
• Familiarity appearing before New York City governmental agencies and planning bodies.
