Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years experience in private practice and/or government.
- Strong experience interpreting and applying the New York City Zoning Resolution and related land use regulations.
- Experience conducting zoning analyses and zoning due diligence.
- Experience advising clients on development and land use matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Admitted to practice in New York (or eligible for admission).
Nice to Have
- Experience handling zoning and land use applications.
- Exposure to discretionary land use approvals, including rezonings, variances, special permits, and environmental review.
- Experience with development rights transactions.
- Familiarity appearing before New York City governmental agencies and planning bodies.
