Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items under supervision.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing plates as needed.
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation procedures comply with safety regulations to promote a hygienic environment.
• Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and storage areas.
• Aid in setting up catering events or banquet services by organizing supplies and assisting with food presentation.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or bending.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts.
• Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel kitchens is a plus but not mandatory.
