Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Team Member is responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of the plant's building systems and infrastructure, including electrical, HVAC, water, sewage, water treatment, and fire protection systems. This role also supports construction and site projects and performs general building maintenance such as painting, wall repair, plumbing, and other facility upkeep to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do:
- Operate and maintain the facility equipment and utilities (structures, electrical, HVAC, water supply, sewage, hydraulics)
- Operate mobile equipment (scissor lift, boom lift, fork lift, etc.) to support maintenance activities
- Follow all Facility safety rules/standards
- Provide accurate information compiled from checklists, inspections, etc.
- Support the manufacturing facility at-large in emergency situations.

- Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule (days and nights) with potential mandatory daily and some Saturday overtime.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing for up to 8-12 hours per shift.
- Performing repetitive motions such as reaching, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling in compact work areas.
- Using fine motor skills to grasp and manipulate tools, parts, and equipment.
- Ability to reach above shoulder level and below the waist as part of daily tasks.
- Lifting, pushing and carrying up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 or more years of experience in equipment, facilities, or general maintenance is preferred.
- College or technical school coursework completed is preferred
- Experience with high and low voltage electricity is preferred.
- Experience as an independent maintenance mechanic, plumber, or electrician is preferred.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of utility equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in a cross-cultural working environment is preferred.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
