Facilities & Maintenance Team Member

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Facilities & Maintenance Team Member to help keep our restaurant looking its best! This person will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff, focusing on the lobby, dining area, restrooms, and the exterior of the restaurant.

Competitive Pay / Hourly Wage:

• $15/hr for High Availability
• $14/hr for Day Availability OR 4-day
• $13/hr for Lunch Availability
• $11/hr for Limited Availability

• Completion of Trainer Requirements: 50¢
• Completion of Skill Test 2 Requirements: $1.50
• Completion of Shift Leader Requirements: 50¢

Facilities & Maintenance Team Position Responsibilities:

Interior (Guest-Facing Areas):

• Keep lobby, entrance, and dining areas clean and organized
• Sweep, mop, and spot-clean floors regularly
• Wipe down and clean windows, glass doors, and entryways
• Empty trash bins and replace liners
• Clean and restock restrooms regularly
• Welcomes and assists our dine-in guests as they enter the restaurant
• Keeps the dining area clean and well-stocked
• Answers guest's questions, offers recommendations, and provides general assistance to guests
• Takes guest's orders, processes payments accurately, and maintains an accurate cash drawer
• Ensures orders are complete and delivers food to guests
• Maintains adequate stock of supplies
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Cleans various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, trash bins and restrooms
• Maintain strict adherence to Food Safety procedures
• Follow procedures to ensure Operational Excellence

Exterior:

• Pick up trash in the parking lot and surrounding outdoor areas
• Sweep sidewalks and entry areas
• Clean outdoor windows and maintain appearance of the exterior
• Monitor and report any landscaping or exterior lighting issues
• Ensure garbage and recycling areas are clean and organized

Desired Skills:

• Customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve
• Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English fluency preferred)
• Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with an outgoing, friendly, and patient attitude
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
• Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
• Enthusiasm for growth
• Demonstrates initiative in serving guests and problem solving
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and arrive to work at the scheduled time

• Able to lift 40 - 50 pounds on a consist basis
