Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is a key position of the newly established, Aisin Texas Corporation in Cibolo Texas. This position is expected to help lead the new organization to a successful startup of key automotive components.

QAS is responsible to meet ATX Quality management system, encourage continuous improvement and resolve quality issues across projects/departments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate quality assurance methods of suppliers and in-house processes.

• Provide technical direction with suppliers and departments for quality assessment and validate the result.

• Communicate with customer to understand and analyze customer requirements regarding quality assurance activities.

• Communicate with customer regarding quality information and corrective actions.

• Manage suppliers and internal quality corrective actions.

• Implement quality measures to meet quality objectives.

• Arrange and maintain working environment by complying with ISO14001, IATF16949, safety guidelines, procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 5 or more years of related manufacturing experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or engineering role.

• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing industry, ISO 9001 / IATF16949.

• Understand PPAP requirements and root cause analysis.

• Leadership track record and good understanding of how to lead people.

• Effective oral and written communications skills

• Excellent computer skills working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in a cross-cultural working environment.

• Experience of IATF16949

• Experience as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer at an automotive manufacturer.
