Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania

Work Arrangement: On-site

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

AIRMATIC, located in Malvern, PA, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials, preparing customer orders for shipment, maintaining inventory locations, and helping keep our warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently.

The ideal candidate takes pride in accurate work, works well independently and as part of a team, and is comfortable in an active warehouse environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver uses purchase orders, pick tickets, and shipping documentation to receive incoming materials and prepare outgoing customer orders.

This position is responsible for inspecting and verifying inbound and outbound shipments, stocking and storing inventory, picking and packing orders, completing shipping records, and entering shipping information into the Company's computer system. Accuracy is essential throughout the shipping and receiving process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and unload incoming motor freight and parcel shipments
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documents
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for correct quantities, part numbers, condition, and accuracy
• Sort, stock, and properly store received inventory
• Pick products and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Pack, seal, and label boxes, skids, and other shipments
• Local pickup/delivery in Company van/truck
• Verify pick tickets, products, quantities, and shipping addresses before orders leave the warehouse
• Complete shipping and receiving records and enter information into the Company's computer system
• Restock bins, shelves, and storage racks
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation and warehouse
• Work cooperatively with coworkers, carriers, and delivery drivers

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Previous shipping, receiving, or general warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
• Valid driver's license

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and perform basic math
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in a busy warehouse environment
• Dependable attendance and ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to following Company safety rules, policies, and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout warehouse and storage areas
• Safely lift and carry materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Perform repetitive picking, packing, stocking, and material-handling activities
