Washes and waxes aircraft and makes them ready to show. Moves aircraft as needed.
Skills
(Competencies required by this position)
- Experience with a commercial polisher and buffer
- Familiar with wax and polishing compounds
- Familiar with special detailing needs of aircraft
- Experience towing and moving aircraft
- Able to get an aircraft AOA badge-No felonies in the last 10 years
IDEAL candidate would be a commercial pilot, but it is not required

Responsibilities

- Washes and waxes airplanes
- Vacuums and treats aircraft interiors
- Makes minor cosmetic improvements and repairs (i.e. fix curtain ties, clean plastic pieces, paint screws)
- Tows aircraft in and out of hangar
- Ferries aircraft (if qualified)
- General facilities maintenance
- Weekly audit of aircraft registration cards
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
- Complete weekly/monthly/quarterly checklists
- Complete weekly aircraft, logbook, headset, and key audits.
- Make sure all company planes and cars are cleaned and fueled.
- Put together detailing kits sold with planes
- Coordinates laundering of towels with vendor
- Keeps accurate HOBBS times for leased planes
- Handles logistics of positioning aircraft
