Role Description: This full-time, on-site HVAC Installer role is based in Flemington, NJ. The HVAC Installer will install residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and testing systems, performing start-ups, making adjustments for optimal performance, and ensuring proper ductwork and ventilation connections. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers, explaining system operation, providing basic maintenance instructions, and supporting the team with occasional repair and maintenance work. The HVAC Installer is expected to follow safety protocols, maintain accurate job documentation, and uphold the company’s standards for cleanliness and professionalism at each job site.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of verifiable HVAC installation or service experience is required.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong Customer Satisfaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners.
- Technical proficiency in Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Repair, and Preventive Maintenance for residential HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of EPA regulations and possession of EPA certification (or ability to obtain it within a defined timeframe).
- Experience installing and commissioning HVAC equipment, including reading blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, and to work in attics, basements, and confined spaces as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in HVAC is preferred.
Important: This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior HVAC field experience. Candidates without hands-on experience working in the HVAC industry will not be considered.
