• 2026 Salary Range: $26,437 - $47,334 (Yearly, including locality)

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and control access to the controlled/restricted area to include flight lines and to perform random inspections of the entry control points and the controlled area perimeters. Performs inspections within and adjacent to controlled areas to include flight lines. Controls personnel access to the controlled area. Enforces organization's security procedures, processes and rules governing controlled area access, reports of physical security violations and personnel clearances and identification. Performs traffic control duties.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Designated Drug Testing Position
• May be required to wear special protective clothing such as boots, vests and coats
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to operate government vehicles
• May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty, to include nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, recall and rotating shifts
  
  

KSA’s

• 1. Knowledge of a standardized body of controlled area regulations, procedures, and terminology to perform guard work independently.
• 2. Ability to act decisively in emergency situations.
• 3. Ability to direct fire and emergency vehicles and restrict other traffic from entering areas in the vicinity of emergency situations.
• 4. Ability to accurately update records and prepare reports.
