The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Information Technology Specialist (GG-2210-14) to work as an Architect, Product Management for Platform One under the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) at JB San Antonio – Lackland, in San Antonio, Texas.
Moving expenses may be paid
Salary: ($146,807-$195,200) based on experience.
Depending on the type of position you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Qualifications/Requirements
In this position, you will serve as the Information Technology Specialist (Architect/Chief Technology Officer), a visionary leader tasked with designing, modernizing, and elevating the next generation of mission-driven technology. You will lead enterprise architecture and modernization strategy across cloud, cybersecurity, data, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiatives. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to accelerate Zero Trust, digital transformation, and next-generation technology adoption.
Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Networks, Security , and Big Bang.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a “Top Secret” security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Requires foundational qualification requirements for Department of War (DoW) Cyberspace work within 9 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification within 24 months.
- This is a Mission Essential & Key Position.
- Expert knowledge of emerging cultural, leadership, regulatory, and technological improvements that transform warfighter operational capabilities.
- Expert knowledge of digital product design, organization structures, and structural relationships in support of digital service management.
- Expert analytical skills to apply qualitative and quantitative methods for user needs assessment and resource prioritization.
- Expert knowledge of cloud computing service models (SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS) and deployment models (private, public, and hybrid).
- Expert knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses and supply chain risk management standards.
- Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, and defense-in-depth principles.
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) acquisition/procurement requirements and systems engineering processes.
