- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing
- Position requires 24/7 on-call availability as primary systems administrator for critical infrastructure support and incident response.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure architecture and operations, including virtualization technologies, storage area networks, backup and recovery systems, network infrastructure, and cloud technologies; knowledge of infrastructure requirements for the High Performance Computing, including parallel files systems, high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand, RoCE), and job scheduling systems (SLURM, SGE); scientific computing libraries, containerization for reproducible research, and workflow management systems for data pipelines.
- Knowledge of DoD security requirements and protocols, including NIST standards, RMF processes, and classified system requirements; understanding of security controls implementation and continuous monitoring requirements, particularly for systems processing sensitive analytical data and models; knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; knowledge of storage systems.
- Knowledge of agile practices and modern IT service management methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and DeveOps frameworks. Knowledge in agile practices with demonstrated experience implanting DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for continuous improvement.
