The Air Force is hiring a Cybersecurity Program Manager. In this critical role, you will provide policy, program oversight, and strategic guidance to ensure the security and effectiveness of USAF Cyberspace Operations. Salary Range: $121,785– $158,322 based on experience

up to 20% telework possible
Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for; you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V3007.

Qualifications/Requirements
The primary purpose of this position: To serve as a cybersecurity and information technology (IT)/Communications Specialist. This position provides policy, program oversight, and planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) guidance to ensure USAF Cyberspace Operations and Warfighter Communications is aligned with the USAF vision and strategy, including statutory and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, and is incorporated into all USAF publications. The incumbent responsible for contributing to the development, implementation, and operation to ensure the cybersecurity of Air Force systems including policy development, capabilities development, and developing the requirements needed for the future Air Force design based on new and emerging threats and technologies.
U.S. Citizenships Required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Clearance.
Drug Testing: This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties.
Knowledge of US Air Force, Federal, U.S. Cyber Command, DoD, and Chief, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) policies, instructions, directives and manuals.
Knowledge and understanding of US Air Force, SAF/CN, Joint Staff and DoD CIO intent pertaining to cybersecurity policy memorandums, regulations, directives, and manuals, and the ability to provide appropriate definition(s) and compliance guidance.
Expert knowledge of and skill in applying risk management to warfighting communications and cyber systems and security engineering principles, concepts, methods, standards and practices as it applies to the cybersecurity and information security domains sufficient to understand and apply these skills to the assessment and authorization process, IAW the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology and comprehend computer security procedures for all US Air Force warfighting communications and cyber systems.
Knowledge of the functionality of the DoD Information Network (DoDIN), internets/intranets and open/cross architecture warfighting communications and cyber systems.
Skill with insight into Title 10 authority as it pertains to usage/disbursement of funds.
