Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Tool & Die Supervisor to oversee technicians and staff responsible for handling equipment, tools, and process claims. This role supervises employees who design, construct, maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment fixtures ,dies, and tools related tooling used in sheet‑metal forming, stamping, and assembly of HVAC air distribution components. The supervisor ensures all necessary equipment and tools are available and properly maintained to support production and maintenance requests.
What You'll Do
This position requires frequent standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift up to 75 pounds using proper techniques. The work environment involves exposure to moving machinery, moderate noise levels, and occasional vibration. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and cut-resistant gloves, must be worn as required. The role is primarily based on the production floor and in the tool room, with occasional weekend or off-shift support during major equipment outages or new product introduction (NPI) launches.

What You'll Do
- Supervise tool room technicians and related staff, assigning daily priorities and monitoring performance.
- Oversee the design, construction, maintenance, calibration, and repair of tools, fixtures, and dies.
- Ensure availability and readiness of equipment and tools to meet production and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, maintenance schedules, and calibration logs.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support new product launches and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling processes, cost reduction, and efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Management or related degree is preferred
- Or a GED or Associates degree with 6 years of tool and die experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years in tool and die or related manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tool and die design, maintenance, and repair practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S principles is preferred.
- Experience with CNC machining, EDM, and other precision tooling processes is preferred.
- ERP/MRP system knowledge for tool tracking and scheduling is preferred
