Position Title: Material Handler BE Loui

Reports To: Shipping Supervisor

Position Summary

The Warehouse Loader is responsible for executing outbound shipment activities by following instructions received via RF devices. This role involves planning and loading finished goods and raw materials, ensuring proper load distribution, verifying product integrity, and completing all required documentation to support accurate and efficient order fulfillment. The position requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow job instructions using RF devices and scanners
• Plan load sequences and distribute products to prevent damage during transit
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load materials safely and efficiently
• Manually handle products weighing up to 100 lbs
• Complete administrative tasks related to order picking, loading, and shipment closure
• Maintain daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
• Ensure safe operation of all warehouse equipment
• Assist in onboarding and training of new team members
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and team members across shifts
• Provide shift transition updates to maintain workflow continuity
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends, to meet operational demands
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Participate in team-based improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating pallet trucks and forklifts
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
• Understanding of warehouse layout, load sequencing, and trailer loading best practices
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, including order picking and loading
• Basic math and computer literacy
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to interpret safety guidelines, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and manual handling
• Regular lifting/moving of items up to 100 lbs
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and exposure to sensory elements (e.g., noise, vibration)
  
  

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and moderate noise levels
• Occasional work in outdoor conditions
