Trusts and Estates Attorney

Our client, a well-established full-service law firm, is seeking a Senior Trusts & Estates Associate (5–7 years) to join its Private Client Services practice in Sarasota. This is a highly visible role working directly with a leading partner on sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.

This position is ideal for someone ready to step into a client-facing role and hit the ground running, with significant opportunity for long-term growth.

What You’ll Work On:

• Designing and implementing complex estate plans for high-net-worth clients
• Advising on estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax strategies
• Handling trust and estate administration matters
• Supporting charitable planning for individuals, foundations, and organizations
• Working with corporate fiduciaries, including banks and trust companies
• Participating in client meetings, events, and relationship-building activities

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years of experience in trusts & estates and private client work
• Strong experience with high-level estate planning and tax strategies
• Ability to operate independently and manage client relationships
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar admission
• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning required
• Board Certification in Wills, Trusts & Estates preferred
