A nationally recognized litigation-focused law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3–8 years of experience to join its growing Southern California practice. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with experience handling defense-side matters involving personal injury, transportation, general liability, catastrophic injury, and related civil litigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents
- Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability and damages issues
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing case updates, recommendations, and strategic guidance
- Collaborate with attorneys, staff, experts, and clients to achieve favorable case outcomes
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service
QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in California
- 3–8 years of defense litigation experience
- Experience handling matters involving personal injury, general liability, transportation, automobile liability, catastrophic injury, or related practice areas preferred
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management experience
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build client relationships
- Experience managing client-facing responsibilities and complex litigation matters is highly valued
- Familiarity with litigation management software and legal project management principles is a plus
