Family Law Attorney

📍 Location: Remote (California) — in-person court appearances as needed in Los Angeles and surrounding counties

Our client, a boutique California family law firm specializing in high-net-worth and complex financial matters, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives on sophisticated cases, enjoys autonomy in a remote setting, and is confident managing matters from intake through resolution.

What You'll Work On:

• Manage a sophisticated family law caseload from intake through resolution
• Handle dissolution of marriage, parentage actions, child custody, and child/spousal support matters
• Litigate complex property division involving businesses, real estate portfolios, equity compensation, and retirement assets
• Conduct support analyses, prepare reports, and direct forensic accountants and other experts
• Represent clients in domestic violence and DVRO matters
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, trial briefs, and settlement proposals
• Appear in court (in-person and remote) and represent clients in mediation and settlement
• Manage post-judgment issues and multiple active cases on tight deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of California
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated family law experience (high-net-worth / complex cases strongly preferred)
• Strong command of California family law, local rules, and LASC court procedures
• Proven experience with complex property division, support analysis, and DVRO matters
• Excellent litigation, legal research, and high-level writing skills
• Confident courtroom presence and strong mediation/settlement skills
• Exceptional communication with clients, counsel, experts, and the court
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-moving practice
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
