We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Director of Vehicle Business Development to lead growth initiatives across the automotive and off-highway sectors. This role requires a proactive, opportunity-focused leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and is comfortable operating with ownership and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across OEM, Tier 1, and strategic partners.
- Build and manage strong relationships with customers, understanding their technical and commercial needs.
- Lead early engagement, requirements exploration, solution positioning, and deal structuring.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and executive teams to align customer needs with company strategy.
- Represent the company at customer sites, events, and industry forums.

Qualifications
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field. At least 5 years of working in a related industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5 years of experience leading sales teams at either a regional or national level.
- Track record of consistently generating $1M-$3M revenue annually.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar software
- Ability to learn new technology
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
