Role: Regional Safety Manager
Location: Queens NY, Bronx NY, Brooklyn NY, or Amityville NY
Responsibilities:
- Manage workers’ compensation claims end to end, including reporting, investigation, and coordination with carriers
- Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, reviewing footage, and partnering with site leadership on corrective actions
- Conduct OSHA, DOT, and site safety audits; ensure compliance across multiple locations
- Standardize and improve safety procedures, policies, and training programs across the region
- Drive a proactive safety culture through training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain safety records, KPIs, and reporting; identify trends and implement preventative measures
- Travel between sites to support safety initiatives; must have reliable transportation
- Strong background in safety leadership within manufacturing or distribution environments
- Experience with OSHA/DOT compliance, audits, and workers’ compensation management
- Ability to lead investigations, drive accountability, and implement corrective actions
- Hands-on, organized leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting multi-site operations preferred
