Position Summary:
The Field Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising electrical installation and maintenance activities on construction projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical work, ensuring alignment with project schedules and contract requirements.
- Manage project scheduling, manpower planning, and crew productivity.
- Oversee material management, procurement, and jobsite logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including PPE use, reporting, and incident management.
- Maintain quality control, ensuring adherence to codes, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Operations, BIM, QA/QC, and Safety teams.
- Support BIM coordination and pre-fabrication planning.
- Assist in employee training, development, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Electrician license or 4β10 years of relevant experience.
Working Conditions:
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Use of PPE is required at all times.
- Must meet company drug testing and background check requirements.
