Job Title: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Location: Hybrid Denver, CO / Remote in Dallas or DC)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Compensation: $250k base $250k variable, $500k OTE
AimHire is partnering with a growth-oriented, SaaS company local to Denver.
The Chief Revenue Officer will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, owning all aspects of revenue strategy and execution, including new business, expansion, and top-line growth across Sales and Partnerships.
This role requires a dynamic, data-driven revenue leader capable of building a predictable, scalable revenue engine, improving pipeline quality, and establishing operating discipline across the go-to-market organization. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and has deep experience in PE-backed SaaS environments where accountability to revenue, efficiency, and growth is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive revenue growth across new business, customer expansion, and overall top-line targets.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to improve retention and drive net revenue growth.
- Build and optimize a predictable, high-quality pipeline that improves conversion and sales efficiency.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies across direct sales, outbound, and partner channels.
- Partner with Marketing to align on target markets, messaging, and pipeline generation strategies.
- Establish revenue metrics, dashboards, and reporting to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Implement structured deal review and pipeline management processes to maximize win rates.
- Recruit, coach, and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering accountability and results.
- Align cross-functionally with Marketing and Customer Success to ensure cohesive GTM execution.
- Advise the CEO and executive team on growth strategy, market expansion, and revenue optimization.
- Present insights, performance updates, and forecasts to leadership and board-level stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 12 years of progressive B2B SaaS revenue leadership, including CRO or VP of Sales experience.
- Proven success building and scaling outbound pipeline engines and improving funnel conversion.
- Experience in PE-backed SaaS or growth-focused companies with board-level reporting experience.
- Expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and enterprise selling.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Experience selling into both commercial and government sectors.
- Experience leading a PE-backed SaaS company through a growth stage to exit (IPO, strategic sale, or continuation fund).
