About the Role
A rapidly growing family-owned business has expanded from 50 to 80 employees and is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the next phase of growth. This role requires a hands-on HR professional who can balance strategy with execution, while building scalable processes that strengthen culture and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that support business goals, employee engagement, and culture.
- Manage the full employee life cycle including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Oversee payroll administration through Paychex, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Lead benefits administration, leave management, and compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Recommend and implement HR systems, policies, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance issues.
- Drive initiatives to support professional development, retention, and company culture.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification a plus).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing payroll, preferably with Paychex.
- Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR support.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $78,021.57 - $82,000.00 per year
