What You’ll Do
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, I-9/E-Verify compliance, new-hire documentation, and orientations.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files, and compliance documentation such as policies, handbooks, and audits.
- Process payroll updates, benefits enrollments, and employee changes using ADP (Workforce Now strongly preferred).
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Track PTO and leave requests, performance review cycles, and mandatory training requirements.
- Support employee relations with professionalism, discretion, and strict confidentiality.
- Partner with leadership on HR projects, process improvements, reporting, and metrics.
Must-Haves
- 2 years of professional Human Resources experience in a corporate environment.
- SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
- Hands-on ADP experience (Workforce Now strongly preferred).
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in legal, insurance, or professional services industries.
- Familiarity with benefits administration, leave management, and basic payroll support.
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets for reporting and tracking.
