Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our 1st shift to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the proper operation of machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment, including motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems using schematics and precision measuring tools.
- Remove and repair defective parts using hoists, cranes, welding equipment, and hand/power tools.
- Inspect and measure parts to determine wear and dimensional changes using calipers, micrometers, and related instruments.
- Adjust and align functional parts of devices using hand tools, levels, and alignment equipment.
- Minimize downtime by training operators on routine maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance.
- Document actions taken, communicate issues, and coordinate corrective measures to maintain workflow continuity.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a plastics injection molding manufacturing environment (required).
- High School Diploma or GED (required); trade school in hydraulics or electrical (preferred).
- Proficiency in reading/interpreting blueprints, mechanical and electrical prints.
- Proven troubleshooting skills using electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
- Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Must provide own basic standard and metric tools/toolbox.
- Strong welding skills required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
