AIM Academy of Helena is looking for a passionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with Pre-K Standards.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Observe and document children's progress using approved assessment tools.
- Maintain accurate classroom records and student portfolios.
- Manage classroom routines and use positive behavior guidance techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all DHR licensing regulations and First Class Pre-K requirements.
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and prepared for daily learning.
- Attend required staff meetings, professional development, and training.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching preschool or Pre-K students preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass all required background checks.
