What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/ Patient Experience Coordinator position at AID Performance Physical Therapy?
This position plays a critical role in the daily success of the clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and a central part of scheduling, communication, and overall clinic flow.
This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize quickly, and confidence in handling multiple tasks at once.
1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing, administrative, or medical office role preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system efficiently
- Schedule patients across multiple providers while optimizing clinic flow
- Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate patient financial responsibility
- Collect payments and confidently discuss billing and costs with patients
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system
- Support overall clinic operations, organization, and daily efficiency
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High level of organization and ability to multitask under pressure
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Confidence discussing financial matters with patients
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHR systems)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in a medical office or physical therapy setting
- Familiarity with insurance verification and eligibility
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10
- Experience coordinating schedules for multiple providers
- Full-time, on-site position
