ARCHITEXAS Dallas and Austin are seeking a full-time Project Architect beginning immediately.
Job Description
- Lead development of design and technical aspects of architectural projects through construction documents and construction, including regulatory reviews.
- Manage multiple small to medium size architectural projects including coordination of consultants, preparation of design and construction drawings and specifications, bidding, and construction administration.
- Professional degree in architecture required
- Minimum 5 – 7 years experience working in an architectural firm.
- Licensed or on path to licensure.
- Proficiency using Revit for drawing and drafting is required. AutoCAD drafting a plus
- Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
- Experience in field measuring and surveying
- Possesses thorough knowledge of design and construction document detailing.
- Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to take on responsibility.
- Excellent writing/communication skills.
- Interest in historic preservation a plus
- Must be willing to attend site visits. Some travel out of town will be required.
- Available for full time employment.
