Responsibilities
- Support individuals with disabilities in leading self-directed lives and becoming active members of their communities.
- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)## Qualifications
- Personal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver, and the ability to keep up to date pertaining to such knowledge, and interpret same.
- Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
- Reasonable flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to the scheduling needs of the individual.
- Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
