## Job DescriptionCurrently seeking a School Aide for the AHRC Middle/HS in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn.Address: 1201 66th Street Brooklyn NY 11219Role Description:
- Part Time/Per-Diem | Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:30 A.M - 3:30 P.M
- 10 month program with 30 day summer session
- Responsibilities include:
- Under the direction of the Teacher/ Behavior Trainer, follow the daily activity schedule/lesson plans and support and guide the implementation of a students objectives as indicated in his/her IEP.
- Provide direct care services to student as needed, including toileting, dressing and feeding, in an instructional manner so as to provide the basis of future independent student action.
- Participate in the arrival and dismissal of student as needed.
- Participate in activities outside the classroom when necessary (e.g. playground, field trips, gym etc.); interact with the student; and address the students safety and physical needs.
- Understand the nature of the students disability and its impact on the students performance; be familiar with the students IEP objectives including the educational purpose and methodology; be familiar with the students medical alerts and EPOP (Enhanced Protective Oversight Plan)
