Job Description

AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for multiple Bronx residences.

PAY RATE: $20- 21.36 per hour depending on driving status. In addition, this position comes with a comprehensive Benefit package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE! See below for additional Benefit information.

DATE & TIME: Thursday November 6th from 10AM-1PM

LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:

Day & Evening shifts (Full & Part-time): 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm & 3pm-11pm....(40hr - 16hr per week)

Deriver license Required for all positions and Weekend availability needed for most positions!

Qualifications

• Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
• Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
• Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry.
• High school education/GED, highly preferred.
